The Apps directory
The Apps directory is where you play, remix, and share interactive content beyond what you build yourself.
Browse galleries
- Open Apps from the sidebar.
- Pick a tab:
- My Apps — your creations and imports
- My School — published by colleagues at your school
- Public — approved community apps
- Filter by subject and grade, or search by name.
- Click a card to Preview, Import, or Open (if you already own it).
Import with a duplicate code
When someone shares an app, they give you a duplicate code (8 characters):
- Apps → Import.
- Paste the code → confirm.
- You get a full editable copy in My Apps — settings, code, and deploy state are yours to change.
You can deploy your own link, edit in Chat, or publish to your school gallery.
Share your app
From My Apps → open an app → Share:
Refresh the duplicate code if you want to rotate access. Deploy first to get a play link.
Link an app to a chat
Each chat can hold one app. From My Apps:
- Open the app menu → Link to chat (or Associate).
- Pick an existing direct Chat without an app attached.
- Open that chat — the App workspace tab shows the linked app.
Or create a new app from Chat with the APP button — the link is automatic.
Apps with no free chats show "No available chats — every chat already has an app." — start a new Chat conversation first.
Play a public app
Deployed apps open at a public URL (/app/{slug}) — no Zense AI login required to play. The page shows Powered by Zense AI and the creator name.
Teachers can embed the link in LMS pages, Google Classroom, or WhatsApp.
School admins approve public publish requests in School Apps moderation.
