After registering, Zense AI may guide you through a short setup wizard at /setup so your account is ready to use. You can update most of these details later in Settings.

The wizard steps change depending on whether you join a school or use an individual account.

School teacher setup

1. Role — confirm you're a Teacher.
2. School code — enter the 8-character join code from your school admin (teacher codes are different from student codes).
3. Confirm school — verify the school name is correct.
4. Subjects — pick the subjects you teach (you can change these later).
5. Profile picture — upload or generate an icon.

School student setup

1. Role — confirm you're a Student.
2. School code — enter your school's student join code.
3. Class details — fill in class, class number, and student number if required.
4. Profile picture — upload or skip.

Individual (no school) setup

1. Occupation — student, teacher, professor, researcher, parent, etc.
2. How you heard about us — optional feedback for the team.
3. Profile picture — upload or skip.

Don't have a school code? Choose "I don't have a code" to continue as an individual account. You can join a school later from Home or Settings.
