The workspace panel beside Chat

The workspace panel beside Chat includes an App tab (when building or linking an app), a Whiteboard, and a Source tab for web references. Open it while chatting to preview apps, sketch ideas, or review sources.

App tab

When you turn on the APP button in the composer (or open a chat with a linked app), the App tab shows:

  • Preview β€” play the interactive app in an iframe.
  • Code β€” view and edit HTML; save, deploy, publish, and share from here.

Chat updates the app via create app and edit app agent tools while you iterate in the conversation. See Apps in Chat in the Apps collection.

Whiteboard

  1. Open Chat and switch to the Workspace panel (or Whiteboard tab on mobile).
  2. Draw, write, and diagram on the interactive whiteboard.
  3. Toggle attach whiteboard in the composer to include a snapshot with your next message.

Chat can see the whiteboard image and respond to what's on it.

If you haven't sent a message yet, you'll be warned about unsaved whiteboard content before leaving.

Source tab

When Chat uses web search or website crawling, the Source tab lists the references it found. Open links to verify facts or dig deeper.

Each source shows the page title and URL so students can cite or check originals.

Tutor whiteboard

Tutors also have a Whiteboard tab in the Tutor Panel β€” shared per tutor for teacher–student sessions. See Live session & Interactive Space under Tutors.
